  • The fitness center at the Wyndham St. Anthony will be undergoing renovations as of June 1, 2008. At this time, there is no date as to when the renovations will be completed. The hotel apologizes for the inconvenience to its guests.
  • The hotel pool will be closed from August 24-27, 2008.
The Wyndham St. Anthony is located three blocks from the Alamo and one block from the Riverwalk. This Victorian-era hotel, was built in 1909 and is designated a National Historic Landmark.

The St. Anthony has been an award-winning 4-diamond hotel for fourteen consecutive years. The hotel's lobby, known as Peacock Alley, is adorned with eight-foot-wide crystal chandeliers and original paintings by artists Remington, Cartier, and DeYoung. The guestrooms have Queen Anne-style decor, with antique replicas and custom-tailored bedspreads; restored black-and-white-tiled baths have pedestal sinks. All rooms feature high-speed wireless Internet access, clock radios, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards and cable TV. The hotel also offers room service, fitness center, a full-service business center, a pool and spa tub. Dining options include the restaurant Madrid Room, serving Southwestern and Continental cuisine, and Pete's Pub, offering fine spirits and light fare in a Victorian setting.
